2006 Chrysler Town & Country

2006 Chrysler Town & Country

The Chrysler Town and country minivan is an excellent model for families concerned with safety and quality. The 2006 model won the JD Power and Associates Award for “Highest Ranked Van in Initial Quality”, and already the 2007 model boasts the Consumer Guide Most Recommended Award.

Available in a wide array of colors, the Town & Country is equipped for comfortable travel for up to seven people. Both sliding side doors as well as the rear hatch can be automatically opened by remote. Models can come equipped with video display, a visual GPS navigation system, and an am/fm radio with a six disc CD/DVD player as well as MP3 player capabilities. Interior space is roomy, with stow and go seating. The seats can be collapsed into the floor, making ample room for cargo and moving large pieces of equipment and furniture. With your seats in the upright position, the floor space can be utilized for all sorts of essentials which would normally crowd your passenger room; such as sports equipment, beach supplies, and daily or weekly essentials great for the car ride with children.

This is a fabulous family car. Stow and go seating makes this a dream to keep clean even with a large family’s busy schedule. The kid’s extracurricular equipment can be stowed in the compartments for their next event, and extra playthings and car toys can be kept there in case of delays in traffic, which every parent knows can create a cranky child.

With a wide range of accessories available, the price range is from $19,000.00 all the way up to the Limited model, priced just below $37,000.00. The Town & Country is reliable and standard models are equipped with airbags and child safety seating. The engine is 170 horsepower, V6, provides reliability and excellent driving capabilities. It’s a twenty gallon tank, anti-lock breaks, rear wheel drive, and power steering. All of the essentials you would expect, such as power windows and air conditions, and the Town & Country handles as smoothly as a luxury car, perfect for drivers just moving up to the larger vehicles from the normally smoother small sedan models.

From the basic all the way up to the Limited, there’s a model to fit almost any budget. All of Chrysler’s vehicles are of great quality, easy to maneuver with quality long lasting parts. For comfort, temperature controls are available to keep standard or differing temperatures from the driver’s seat, passenger seat, and rear of the car. The body structure is well made and solid, which adds to the safety of the model, but also limits the outside road noise and adds to the smoothness of the ride. Again, a great feature for a growing family who may have kids napping during long rides. Other features may include a center counsel between passenger and drivers seats, under seat stowing drawers, and collapsible cup holders in each bucket seat. The back storage area comes equipped with hooks to help hold groceries and other storage needs. The overhead compartment can be fitted with video screen capabilities, or used as storage for sunglasses and other essentials.

A good choice of vehicle for the growing or larger family, this model can also be a great choice for those who prefer a roomy vehicle with lots of storage and moving space. All of the seats can be removed or stowed from the interior to aid in moving furniture, or any supply. This model is great for the constant traveler who finds themselves on many road trips or camping excursions, and a good model for any consumer looking for safety and handling in their day to day car.
